Founder’s Story

Laureate Academy was founded by Libby Hancock, an experienced NSW teacher and educational leader, who recognised the gap between conventional tutoring and the expectations of Sydney’s most ambitious families.

Having worked with diverse learners, I saw that families investing in their child’s future needed more than transactional lessons. They needed a partner in education — a concierge who could offer guidance, strategy, and discretion. Laureate Academy was born from this conviction.
